Two Great Stories

The two great ancient stories of India are Ramayanam and Mahabharatham. These two epic stories have a great impact on the Indian culture. Ramayanam, the story which revolves around describing the qualities needed between husband and wife and also describes the soulful relationship among the brothers. On the other hand in Mahabharatham , the misunderstandings and the hatred among the brothers lead to a great war in the Indian history known as Kurukshetra War. There was a huge loss in those 18 days of war. And in the starting of the war, Krishnan preached divine thoughts and gave advice to Arjunan, one of the Pandavas. It is also known as Bhagavad Geethai, one of the most respected texts in the Hindu Religion. Ramayanam is written by Valmiki whereas Mahabharatham is written by Vyasar. Ramayanam teaches people how to live united and share bonding in the family. Contrast to it, Mahabharatham shows us the evil side of life when there is no unity among us. But it doesn’t mean Mahabharatham doesn’t teach anything. Both stories teach us the life lessons.
